Engine and Performance: Still a Beast

While the looks got a makeover, the mechanicals remain the same – and that’s a good thing. You still get the 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with 89 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm.

Beneath its rugged new appearance, the Scrambler 1200 X carries a strong tubular steel frame paired with 45mm Marzocchi USD forks at the front and dual rear shocks with piggyback reservoirs at the back, both offering 170mm of suspension travel for versatile terrain handling.

Braking is handled by twin 310mm front discs with Nissin calipers and a 255mm rear disc, with cornering ABS for confident stops – even when the road disappears.

Comfort Meets Capability

Seat Height: 820mm. The 1200 X sits lower to the ground compared to the taller XE model, making it more welcoming for shorter riders. An optional lower seat can drop that by almost an inch to make it more accessible to more riders.

Five Riding Modes (including Off-Road and Rider custom mode), switchable traction control, LED lighting and a bright color TFT display – this bike has modern tech and scrambler DNA.

India Launch and Price

Global deliveries start in July 2025 and India launch will follow soon. Price will be slightly higher but will be close to the current ₹11.83 lakh ex-showroom.
