At a recent industry event, a spokesperson for Escorts Group confirmed that the much-awaited revival of the Rajdoot 350 will hit Indian roads this September. According to a report by Motorheads India, the classic motorcycle will retain its signature twin-cylinder layout while incorporating modern technology and safety features.
Rajdoot 350: Engine Specifications
The new Rajdoot 350 will boast the same 347cc, two-stroke twin-cylinder engine as its predecessor – making it a legendary motorcycle among enthusiasts. According to reports, two variants will be offered – Standard and Performance.Performance variant will produce approximately 30.5 horsepower and 32 Nm of torque while Standard version produces 27 bhp with same figure; both will offer six speed manual transmission options.
Performance variant reportedly sprints from zero to 100 kmh in 7.9 seconds while Standard version takes 8.5 seconds to do the same run. Although keeping its classic two-stroke configuration, engine has been updated to meet contemporary emission standards while still producing characteristic exhaust note.
Rajdoot 350: Features
The Rajdoot 350 boasts features including dual digital displays – with one 7-inch TFT screen serving as an instrument cluster and another 5-inch display acting as an infotainment system. LED lighting all around is standard as are USB Type-C charging ports, Bluetooth connectivity and three riding modes – Heritage Sport Eco.
Classic styling of this motorcycle includes its iconic fuel tank design, twin exhaust pipes and comfortable seating position. Modern touches include alloy wheels with tubeless tires for improved rider safety; four color choices (Classic Black, Vintage Red, Royal Blue and Chrome Silver) make up its distinct character.
Rajdoot 350: Safety
The new Rajdoot 350 represents a substantial upgrade in safety when compared with its predecessor. Equipped with dual-channel ABS, dual disc brakes, traction control (on Performance variant) and an extensive digital display featuring safety alerts; additionally this bike includes side stand engine cut-off feature, hazard lights and emergency stop signal system for added peace of mind.
Both variants come equipped with adjustable front suspension, monoshock rear setup, improved ergonomics and better control and stability at higher speeds. In addition, the Performance variant adds cornering ABS as well as an adjustable windscreen to further increase safety and comfort during long rides.
The new Rajdoot 350 motorcycle’s frame has been strengthened with high-tensile steel to improve rigidity while maintaining the lightweight characteristics that made its predecessor so enjoyable to maneuver on twisty roads.
According to company sources, the bike weighs in at an approximate wet weight of 172 kg – making it slightly heavier than its predecessor but significantly lighter than many contemporary motorcycles in its class.

Both models feature a 15-liter fuel tank, and should deliver fuel economy of around 25 kmpl for the Standard variant and 22 kmpl for Performance models under normal riding conditions.
Rajdoot 350’s revival coincides with the increasing interest and demand for classic motorcycles among both nostalgic riders and younger enthusiasts alike, who value bikes with character and history. Combining vintage charm with contemporary features, the Rajdoot 350 aims to meet this growing market segment when it hits shelves later this September.
