Mahindra has dispatched over 3,000 units of BE 6 and XEV 9e in April itself. With 2,991 units dispatched in April, Mahindra has dispatched 11,038 units from factory to dealerships in the last 4 months.

Mahindra XEV 9e XEV 9e sold 2,441 units in April 2025. Growth of 14.79% month on month.
The Mahindra XEV 9e is priced at Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant.
Mahindra BE 6 BE 6 sold 550 units in April 2025. Steady sales in compact electric SUV segment. Focuses on another costumer segment then XEV 9e.
Base variant of Mahindra BE 6 is available at Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Market and Timing
Tata Harrier EV is launching on June 3, 2025 and will enter the premium electric SUV segment. Tata Harrier EV price starts at Rs 21.49 lakh and is directly competing with Mahindra’s electric offerings.
The Harrier EV uses 65kWh and 75kWh battery packs and a range of up to 627km. Creating competition in the segment.

Sales and Market Position
Mahindra has already sold over 6,500 units of BE 6 and XEV 9e since March 2025. Top variants are selling more, indicating customer preference for feature loaded electric SUVs.
The two electric SUVs have captured 6% of Mahindra’s total SUV dispatches in the last 4 months. That’s a significant contribution to the overall sales.

Mahindra’s electric SUV sales show strong market acceptance before competition arrives. Mahindra already had more than 30,000 bookings of the electric SUVs, over and above the sales today.
