Mahindra will reveal the Bolero Neo facelift on August 15, 2025 with key safety and design upgrades.

New Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift Set to Break Cover on August 15!

Mahindra is expected to unveil the updated Bolero Neo on August 15, 2025. The updated model will get a new look, new safety features and a premium feel while retaining its ruggedness. This is a big update since the SUV’s launch in 2021.

What’s New?

The upcoming 2025 version is likely to sport a completely reworked exterior. Leaked details and spy images suggest a more upright and bold design, similar to Land Rover Defender and Mercedes G-Wagon. Circular projector headlamps (possibly from Thar Roxx), flush door handles and new alloy wheels will give it a modern look.

Inside, expect a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, semi-digital instrument cluster and new interior materials. A panoramic sunroof is being added to the Bolero range for the very first time.

Safety and Technology

Safety updates are a big highlight. The new model will get:

  • Six airbags (up from two in the current version)
  • Level 2 ADAS (similar to XUV 3XO)
  • TPMS and rearview camera
  • Safety tech includes ABS, EBD, and Cornering Brake Control systems

This also helps the Bolero Neo to meet today’s SUV safety expectations.

Engine, Platform & Transmission

Mahindra is likely to continue with the same 1.5-litre mHAWk100 diesel engine. But there are whispers of a more powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel and an automatic gearbox to address a long pending user demand.

Another point of discussion is the platform. While the current version runs on ladder-frame chassis, some reports suggest a move to the new NFA monocoque platform. This will improve the ride and ready the vehicle for hybrid or EV tech in future.
