VinFast is set to enter the Indian market with the launch of its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. The first phase of VinFast’s India plan begins on July 15 with bookings open in 13 different states.

VinFast has partnered with 13 dealer groups to open 32 outlets in 27 cities like Delhi, Noida, Pune, and Chennai. These outlets will handle sales, service, and spare parts support. VinFast aims to expand to 35 dealerships by the end of 2025.

Here is a quick look at the upcoming VinFast VF6 and VF7 for India

VinFast VF6 (Compact Electric SUV)

The VF6 will be offered in Eco and Plus variants. It will come with a 59.6 kWh battery, with a range of up to 399 km. Power output is rated up to 201 bhp and 310 Nm. Features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ADAS, ventilated seats, and up to 7 airbags. Expected price is ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom).

VinFast VF7 (Mid-Size Electric SUV)

The VF7 will be available in Eco and Plus trims, powered by a 75.3 kWh battery offering up to 450 km range. The top variant offers 348 bhp with AWD. Key features include a larger infotainment screen, ADAS, panoramic sunroof, HUD, and powered tailgate. Expected price is ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom).

VinFast VF6 vs VF7 Expected Specifications

Both SUVs will be manufactured in Tamil Nadu at VinFast’s new plant. Deliveries are expected to begin by mid-August 2025.
