The 2025 Mahindra Thar Facelift has been caught testing again and this time the changes are hard to miss. Camouflaged, the 3-door Thar looks fresher and more premium while still rugged. If industry whispers are true, it could break cover as early as September 1, 2025.
From the exterior, the facelift takes cues from the latest Thar Roxx. Look out for a bolder front end, slimmer LED tail lights, updated bumper and fresh alloy wheel design. Even under wraps, the stance looks bolder, as if the Thar is ready to take on rivals like Force Gurkha and Maruti Jimny.
Inside, that’s where the real transformation begins. A 10.25-inch infotainment display will replace the old 7-inch unit, power window switches will move to the doors and a new steering wheel design is on the cards. Rumour has it a wireless charger, digital driver’s display and even premium features like 360-degree camera and ventilated seats on higher trims.
Mechanically, Mahindra is sticking to the 2.0L turbo-petrol and 1.5L/2.2L diesel engines with both manual and automatic gearboxes and RWD and 4WD options. Prices will go up slightly, starting from ₹12 lakh ex-showroom.
If the rumored debut date is accurate, the wait for the 2025 Mahindra Thar Facelift is already ticking.
