Next-Gen Mahindra Bolero Spy Shots Reveal New Styling and Features

The wait for the Next-Gen Mahindra Bolero just got more exciting. Fresh spy shots give us the clearest look yet at this iconic SUV’s transformation. I’ve seen many Boleros over the years, often dusty and hauling goods in the countryside, but this one feels different. Even under camouflage, it has an air of something bigger, bolder and more refined.

A Modern Face With Classic Attitude

The Mahindra Bolero has long been known for its rugged nature, and the updated design preserves that strength while bringing in a touch of city-ready style. The boxy stance remains, now paired with a new upright grille with vertical slats and Mahindra’s Twin Peaks badge in the center. Circular LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs give a retro-modern look that reminds me of a baby G-Wagon.

From the side, squared-off wheel arches, chunky cladding and flush door handles give a premium feel. At the rear, the side-hinged tailgate with a mounted spare stays, while new vertical LED taillights hint at a cleaner, more modern finish.

A Cabin That Feels Like a Leap Into the Future

Inside, the all-black dashboard looks sleek with a floating touchscreen expected to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A three-spoke steering wheel from the Scorpio-N adds a premium feel. Rumours suggest firsts for the Bolero like a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and possibly a panoramic sunroof on top trims.

Built for Today, Ready for Tomorrow

The next-gen Bolero is expected to ride on Mahindra’s new NFA monocoque chassis for better comfort, handling and safety. Power could come from an updated 1.5L mHawk diesel with a more powerful four-cylinder version possible. Safety kit could go up to six airbags, ABS with EBD and even ADAS on higher variants.

If Mahindra gets the mix of rugged reliability and modern appeal right, the next-gen Bolero could attract buyers in both rural and urban markets.
