The 125cc commuter motorcycle space is about to get very interesting. Just a few days before launch, images of the Hero Glamour X 125 have surfaced online, and I have to admit, they caught me off guard. A commuter bike with features I usually associate with premium machines, it almost feels like Hero has decided to rewrite the rulebook.
One detail that stood out immediately was the cruise control toggle on the switchgear. On a 125cc commuter! It might not make much sense in bumper-to-bumper city traffic, but picture yourself cruising on a long highway stretch, hand relaxed, engine humming steadily, that’s where it changes the game.
Then there’s the ride modes: Eco, Road, and Power. I imagine Eco mode squeezing out every drop of mileage, while Power mode might give the Glamour X a livelier feel when the road opens up. Add a color TFT display with Bluetooth navigation and a full LED setup with a sharp H-shaped DRL, and suddenly, this commuter feels like something out of the future.
With pricing expected around ₹95,000 to ₹1 lakh, the Glamour X 125 isn’t just aiming at rivals like the TVS Raider and Honda SP 125, it’s aiming to make them feel old-fashioned.
