Bajaj has introduced the Chetak 3001 as its most budget-friendly electric scooter yet. Priced at ₹99,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it replaces the older Chetak 2903 and is for everyday city riders who want a reliable EV without burning a hole in the pocket.
This entry-level variant gets a 3kWh battery with a claimed range of 127 km. It has a 3.1kW hub motor and a top speed of 63 km/h, perfect for urban commutes. The Chetak 3001 also carries forward the retro-inspired metal body design, same as the Chetak range.

Deliveries will start by end of June 2025 and bookings have already begun. On-road price in Delhi is ₹1,04,078 including insurance. You can choose from three colours: Racing Red, Lime Yellow and Azure Blue.
