Bajaj Pulsar NS400 Launch Leaked as Most Powerful Pulsar

Bajaj may soon launch their most powerful Pulsar yet, the NS400, expected to arrive in Indian markets by mid-2025, according to recent leaks.

Insider sources close to the matter have revealed that Bajaj’s much-awaited Pulsar NS400 could arrive on Indian roads as early as mid-2025, becoming its most powerful offering and expanding upon Bajaj’s popular streetfighter range.

Pulsar Brand Makes Headway

The Pulsar NS400 would mark an important step for Bajaj’s Pulsar line-up, currently comprising of motorcycles ranging from 125cc to 250cc models. While Bajaj already offers its Dominar 400 in this segment, the NS400 was apparently designed for riders seeking aggressive styling and handling characteristics of a naked sport bike with increased power output.

Leaked Information about Launch Details

Bajaj plans to officially unveil the NS400 during the 2025 festive season, probably between September and November. This follows Bajaj’s established pattern of releasing new models when consumer spending peaks.

Pre-production trials of Bajaj’s NS400 motorcycle have already begun at their Chakan facility, signaling it’s in an advanced stage of development. Homologation and ARAI certification testing should follow shortly thereafter.

Engine and Performance Expectations mes Although official specifications have yet to be confirmed, strong indications point toward the NS400 using the 373cc liquid-cooled engine from the Dominar 400, which shares its architecture with KTM 390 platform. However, as part of its Naked Sport designation it should feature different tuning for more responsive throttle action and sportier performance than its Dominar predecessor.

Reports indicate that the NS400 could produce approximately 40 PS of power and 35 Nm of torque, placing it as an excellent alternative to motorcycles like KTM Duke 390, TVS Apache RTR 310 and select Royal Enfield models.

Design and Features

While details about the NS400 remain limited, industry experts expect it will follow the aggressive styling language seen on the existing Pulsar NS200, but with sharper bodywork, new color options, and an updated digital instrument cluster. Furthermore, modern features like full LED lighting, dual-channel ABS brakes, ride-by-wire throttle control, and possibly multiple riding modes should also be expected from this model.

Bajaj’s competitive pricing strategy could play an instrumental role in the NS400’s market impact. If launched with specifications comparable to that of KTM Duke 390 but priced significantly less–roughly between Rs2 lakh and Rs2.3 lakh ex-showroom–then this motorcycle could make waves in India’s mid-segment motorcycle market.

Market Implications

The Indian motorcycle market is experiencing a shift toward higher displacement models, with riders increasingly opting for performance machines like KTM, TVS’ premium offerings and Honda CB300F streetfighters. The increased popularity of such models demonstrates an increasing desire among riders.

With testing currently taking place and an expected late 2025 launch timeline in place, bike enthusiasts eagerly anticipate what could become Bajaj’s most impressive Pulsar to date.
