BMW has introduced the iX1 LWB (Long Wheelbase) electric SUV in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 on 17 January 2025. The launch is a significant move for the company as it would be BMW’s first locally assembled electric vehicle in India.

The BMW iX1 LWB comes in one variant, eDrive20L M Sport, at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹49.00 lakh. It’s more affordable than fully imported alternatives.

BMW is providing a complimentary 11kW wallbox for home charging which takes around 6 hours 30 minutes to fully charge. The vehicle supports CCS-II charging standard and has regenerative braking with 4 levels.
