Lamborghini Temerario GT3 Roars to Life at Goodwood 2025
If you’re into GT racing and pure motorsport drama, the Lamborghini Temerario GT3 is your new obsession. Unveiled at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this all-new track weapon is a clean break from the Huracán GT3 – designed from the ground up, in-house, at Sant’Agata Bolognese.
No road car carryovers. No compromises. This is Lamborghini going full race mode.
Built for the Track, From Scratch
What sets the Lamborghini Temerario GT3 apart? For the first time ever, Lamborghini has fully engineered a GT3 car in-house – everything from chassis to aerodynamics is brand new.
- Engine: 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, reworked for track use
- Output: Around 542 bhp, hitting up to 10,000 rpm
- Drivetrain: GT3 rules mean no hybrid here
- Chassis: Lightweight aluminum spaceframe
- Body: Carbon fiber panels with quick-release tech
That engine? It’s derived from the road-going Temerario but with smaller turbos, bespoke compressors and top-end punch.
Focused on Speed, Service, and Stability
This isn’t just a fast car. It’s a race engineer’s dream. Its stretched wheelbase and expanded track width give the Temerario GT3 better cornering stability and grip – a big win for endurance racing.
The body panels are not only light – they’re quick-release, meaning quicker pit work and less downtime. Inside, drivers get an updated steering setup and race-spec fuel systems designed for maximum reliability.
According to Lamborghini’s Rouven Mohr, the goal was simple: Fix every flaw from the previous GT3 cars. And it shows.
What’s Next for the GT3 Beast?
The car will officially debut in competition at the Sebring 12 Hours in March 2026, with a limited rollout to select teams. The Huracán GT3 will still race during this transition, but make no mistake – this is the future of Lamborghini Motorsport.
