There’s something about Mahindra’s Independence Day reveals that gets me genuinely excited. I remember last year, sitting with a cup of chai, watching their bold concepts drop online. Now, they’re at it again. This August 15th, Mahindra isn’t just launching a product. It’s promising a glimpse into the future with four all-new SUV concepts that could reshape Indian SUVs.
I’ve seen the names. Vision.T, Vision.S, Vision.SXT, and Vision.X. Each one seems to tell a different story. Vision.T feels like a successor to the Thar.e. Rugged, electric, and built for trails. Imagine climbing rocks in silence. That might be it.
Vision.S gives strong Scorpio vibes. Same bold attitude, now possibly electric or hybrid. A classic, evolved.
Vision.SXT caught my attention. Muscular, pickup-like, maybe meant to haul, climb, and get dirty.
And then Vision.X. Compact, family-ready, probably all-electric. Sounds like Mahindra’s upcoming SUV for urban families that want style with purpose.
All four are built on Mahindra’s new Freedom NU platform, a flexible base for EVs, hybrids, and regular engines. That’s a smart move. Mahindra is clearly building for every kind of future.
