It’s hard to ignore the feeling I got when I first saw the spy shots. That unmistakable teardrop tank, those wire-spoked wheels, and the long, laid-back stance—it was like the classic Bullet I grew up seeing, but with a heavier, more muscular attitude. And the rumble in my gut? That came from knowing what’s packed inside: Royal Enfield’s proven 648cc parallel-twin.
If you’ve ridden or even stood near an Interceptor 650, you already know what I mean. The motor is smooth but punchy, calm but ready to surge when you roll the throttle. Now imagine that paired with the iconic design language of the Bullet. That’s what the new Royal Enfield Bullet 650 promises.
From what I’ve gathered, this isn’t just a cosmetic job. Underneath that timeless silhouette is a modern frame and suspension setup, probably the same one from the Classic 650 and Shotgun 650. It’s expected to get disc brakes on both ends, dual-channel ABS, and a semi-digital instrument cluster that blends retro charm with real-world utility.

And while I love how simple the old Bullets are, a USB port and the optional Tripper navigation system won’t hurt either. I’m also hearing whispers of a ₹3 to ₹3.5 lakh price tag, which would make it the most affordable 650 in RE’s lineup.
If everything comes together the way it’s shaping up, the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 might just be the most emotionally satisfying RE in years. Classic soul. Twin heart. I can’t wait to hear it thump.
