When I first saw the Skoda Vision 7S, it didn’t look like another electric SUV. It looked like a promise, something futuristic but grounded and real. There’s something about those sharp T-shaped LED lights and that closed-off grille that gives it an edge. It doesn’t shout for attention, it owns it.
Skoda is calling this new design language Modern Solid, and I get why. The Skoda Vision 7S looks like it was carved from the future. A sloping roofline meets rugged bumpers and huge 22-inch wheels. But it’s not trying to be a show-off. It’s just clean, confident and built with purpose. Even the Skoda logo has gone minimal, no winged arrow, just a wordmark.

Inside, things get even more interesting. The cabin isn’t just sustainable, it’s clever. I saw the child seat in the center, probably the safest spot in a crash, and thought Why hasn’t anyone done this before? The materials feel like a love letter to recycling, with recycled tyres on the floor and polyester yarn fabrics. And then there’s the screen. A massive 14.6-inch screen that flips depending on whether you’re driving or chilling. It feels like stepping into a lounge, not a car.
Of course, performance matters too. The Skoda Vision 7S has an 89kWh battery with over 600km of range and 200kW fast charging. Imagine plugging in during a coffee break and getting enough charge for the entire day. That’s not just convenience, that’s freedom.

Skoda says the production version will be out globally by 2026, with an India launch expected in 2027. With 7 seats, AWD and family-first features, I can already see it going up against the Kia EV9 here.
The Skoda Vision 7S isn’t just a concept. It’s a quiet declaration that electric cars can be strong, spacious and surprisingly human.
