Intro

Suzuki has launched the Avenis Naruto Shippuden edition in India, introducing anime-inspired styling to its popular 125cc scooter. The new variant aims to appeal to young, pop-culture-focused riders with its cosmetic changes, while retaining the same mechanical underpinnings.

What is the Naruto edition?

Unveiled at the ‘Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!’ festival in New Delhi (Sept 13–14), the special edition has Naruto Shippuden-themed graphics on the standard Avenis platform as part of a wider lifestyle collaboration and on-ground activations.
According to Suzuki, the collaboration is meant to channel the anime’s ‘never-give-up’ spirit, aiming to connect with younger buyers. The theme is also expected to extend into a wider range of merchandise and on-ground events.

Design and highlights

The scooter has the Avenis’ sporty stance – body-mounted LED headlamp, LED tail-lamp and split grab rail – now with a black-and-silver scheme and anime-styled decals.
Reports say Sasuke-inspired motifs like Sharingan/Cursed Seal cues on select panels; official full-angle imagery is still limited.

Features and practicality

Core equipment remains the same: fully digital instrument console, external fuel cap, front glove box with USB charging and 21.8-litre under-seat storage.
Safety features are CBS and side-stand interlock; Bluetooth Ride Connect availability for this edition is not confirmed.

Engine and performance

Mechanicals are unchanged: 124.3cc air-cooled single with Suzuki Eco Performance, 8.7 PS and 10 Nm via CVT.
Mileage for the standard model is 55 kmpl, kerb weight 106 kg and 5.2-litre tank retained.

Price and availability

The official price for the Naruto Shippuden edition has not yet been announced. However, the standard Suzuki Avenis range is priced between ₹91,400 and ₹94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), providing a reference point for its expected cost.
Availability and booking details will be shared through SMIPL channels soon.

Closing note

For young pop-culture first buyers who want style without compromising on practicality.
