Tata Altroz Facelift Launches Today: New Look, More Features

Tata Motors will unveil the revamped version of their premium hatchback Altroz in India today(May 22). The updated model boasts a fresh exterior design, updated interiors and numerous new features; making it an upgrade over its outgoing variant.

Refreshed Exterior Design

The Tata Altroz facelift features an eye-catching new front profile featuring updated LED lighting elements, such as connected DRLs and tail lamps with new designs. Meanwhile, alloy wheels and door handles borrowed from Tata Curvv add modernity and premium appeal; dimensions remain unknown but its sharper rear design implies more aerodynamic performance.

Upgraded Interiors and Features

Inside, the Altroz facelift introduces a digital instrument cluster for top-spec variants along with a revamped dashboard and updated air conditioning controls. Additionally, its gear knob now resembles those found on its rival models such as Curvv and Nexon adding an element of sophistication. Other key features include ambient lighting, 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless charger support and 360 degree parking camera – although unfortunately for rear center passenger they still lack headrest support.

Improved Safety

Safety remains at the core of Tata Motors’ commitment to creating secure and reliable vehicles, and with the facelifted Altroz, that promise remains intact with six airbags, ABS, ESP and hill hold assist features as standard equipment. This feature complements their dedication to producing secure yet reliable cars.

Powertrain Options

The facelifted Altroz is expected to maintain the current engine lineup: 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.5L diesel, and a 1.2L turbo petrol. A CNG variant may also remain, although Tata Motors has yet to confirm availability of diesel.

Pricing Expectations

The outgoing Altroz starts at Rs7.60 lakh in Noida for its base variant; as new features are likely to add costs, expect the facelifted model’s prices to increase slightly.

Tata Altroz’s facelift marks an exciting step forward for their brand, combining style, technology, and safety in one comprehensive package. Stay tuned today for details about official pricing!
