The Tata Nano returns in a reimagined 2025 form. Once celebrated as India’s most budget-friendly car, the latest model now targets urban buyers with refreshed looks, added features, and the headline update — a likely electric version.
Petrol and EV Options
The 2025 Tata Nano is available in three petrol trims — XE, XM and XT — while the electric version is coming soon. Though Tata Motors hasn’t confirmed the EV’s launch timeline, it’s expected to hit the market by late 2025 or early 2027.
- Petrol trims are available in a price range of ₹2.49 lakh to ₹3.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Nano EV will be priced from ₹4 lakh to ₹6 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the variant.
New Design and Urban Look
The new Nano has a sleeker, taller body with updated headlamps, LED DRLs and improved aerodynamics. It’s still compact, perfect for city driving but now has more cabin space thanks to slightly increased dimensions.
Color options for the EV are super cool with shades like Aqua Teal, Neon Blue and dual-tone finishes.
