TVS Motor Company has officially launched the TVS Apache RTX 300 in India, marking the brand’s bold entry into the mid-capacity adventure touring segment. Priced from ₹1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the all-new ADV debuts an advanced RT-XD4 engine platform, setting a fresh performance benchmark in its category.

A Big Step into the Adventure Territory

The launch event held in Theog, Himachal Pradesh, showcased TVS’s latest flagship engineered for both daily rides and long-distance exploration. According to Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, the Apache RTX 300 is designed to “expand the Apache legacy” into adventure touring, a segment that continues to grow rapidly in India and abroad.

Powertrain and Performance

At the heart of the Apache RTX 300 lies a 299.1 cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve DOHC engine from the new RT-XD4 platform. The motor produces 36 PS at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch and an optional bi-directional quickshifter.

Braking duties are handled by 320 mm front and 240 mm rear petal discs with dual-channel ABS, ensuring strong control across terrains.
